Your Photos
At EXTRAFILM, we recognise that your photos are your precious, private memories
for you to choose how and with whom you wish to share them. As such, your photos
are at all times protected by your personal login and password. They remain your
property and the location of your online photos and the photos themselves will never
be made known by us to anyone else.
New Privacy Laws
Extrafilm is committed to protecting your privacy. From 21st December 2001, new
National Privacy Principals came into effect, as part of the Commonwealth Privacy
Act 1988. ('the Act'). The National Privacy Principals set out how Extrafilm should
collect, use, keep and disclose your personal information. You have the right to
know what information Extrafilm holds about you, and the right to correct it if
it is wrong.
Application of this Policy
Extrafilm is committed to complying with the requirements of the Act. This statement
sets out Extrafilm' policy in Australia, for handling personal information collected
when dealing with members and business partners. From time to time, Extrafilm may
change this Australian Privacy Statement. For example, as we update and improve
our service, new features may require changes to our Privacy Statement. Extrafilm
will publish any changes on www.extrafilm.com.au
New Spam Act
The Australian Spam Act was introduced in December, 2003. The Spam Act outlines
the rules and restrictions on how any commercial electronic message should be sent
out.
Application of this Policy
Extrafilm adhere to the strict standards of email marketing in Australia, and does
not share a customer email address with any third party company.
Access to your Personal Information
Extrafilm, upon request, can provide you with access to the personal information
we hold about you, subject to some exceptions allowed by law. If you wish to do
so, your request will need to be in writing for security reasons. There is no cost
for providing this service, but we reserve the right to charge a fee should it be
necessary.
What Personal information does Extrafilm collect?
Extrafilm only collects personal information that is necessary to carry out the
various services we provide for our members.
Personal information held by Extrafilm may include your name, address, any previous
addresses, telephone or mobile phone number, e-mail address, payment details, and
your Extrafilm ID number and password.
If you choose not to provide all or some of this personal information, we may not
be able to provide you with some of our services.
How Extrafilm collects Personal Information
Extrafilm collects personal information in a number of ways including:
* Directly from you, when you provide information by phone or mail, such
as responding to a processing offer
* From third parties such as friends who have referred you to our service
* From our own records of how you use the Extrafilm Service
How Extrafilm uses your Personal Information Your personal information may
be used to:
* Provide you with the services you require
* Administration of such services
* To inform you of Extrafilm special offers
* To research, develop and improve new and existing services
* To let you know about new and improved services
* To gain an understanding of your service and communication needs, to provide
you with a better service
Disclosure of Personal Information
Extrafilm, in using your personal information for the above purposes, may need to
disclose this information to outside organisations. This is so we can provide you
with Extrafilm Services. These include:
* Credit providers for credit related purposes such as credit -worthiness,
credit rating, credit provision and financing;
* Credit-reporting and fraud-checking agencies;
* Mailing houses
* Contracted service providers
Extrafilm may also disclose information in special cases when Extrafilm have a good
faith belief that such an action is reasonably necessary to, for example (a) conform
to legal requirements or comply with legal process (b) protect and defend Extrafilm
rights or property (c) enforce Extra film's contractual arrangements (d) act to
protect the interest of Extra film's members or others.
Opting Out - it's your choice
Occasionally, we are able to offer you great products and new services from other
reputable companies, approved by Extrafilm. These offers are made by mail.
If the box is unmarked, EXTRAFILM considers permission has been granted to send
such information. All third party mailings are approved first by Extrafilm.
You can "opt out" of receiving such mailings, every time you deal with Extrafilm.
Just tick the opt out box on your trial offer film envelope or personal order form.
Your Email Address
Extrafilm does not make your email address available to third parties. Your email
address is only used by Extrafilm, to provide you with an online photo viewing service.
Occasionally, we will email you about new services and special offers we think will
be of interest.
You can "opt out" or unsubscribe to emails about new services and special offers
at anytime. Just click the "unsubscribe" link on the bottom of any email you receive
from Extrafilm.

How does Extrafilm protect your personal information?
Extrafilm take every care to protect the personal information we hold.
This includes, using industry standard techniques such as firewalls, encryption,
intrusion detection and site monitoring Internally, Extrafilm restricts access to
personal information.
Information is only made available to employees or parties who need access in order
to do their jobs. These employees are committed to maintaining confidentiality.
How can you help protect your information?
Extrafilm takes all reasonable precautions to ensure that the personal information
we collect, use and disclose is accurate, complete and up to date. To assist us,
you can:
* let us know if there are any errors in your personal information; and
* keep us up to date with changes to personal information such as your name and
address

EXTRAFILM cannot be held responsible for advertisers web sites and the content of
any the web sites to which there are links.
